St. Patrick School

is a private catholic school institution for boys and girls in the Pre-school, Elementary, Junior and Senior High School levels. The school was named after St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.

Who is the Founder?

In 1968, the late Judge Paulo Macasaet (founder of the school) led a group of incorporators and built a school for children in the GSIS community.

St. Patrick School is a PEAC –ESC certified non sectarian, catholic practicing institution for boys and girls in the Pre-school, Elementary, Junior and Senior High School levels. We are a pilot in the community in understanding the changing growth and learning patterns of children. With 53 solid years of teaching experience, we have prepared our students to meet the challenges that lie ahead.

Classes are now divided into two sessions Morning from 8:00 am to 12nn and Afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:00pm depending on the grade level.

Children may enrol in St. Patrick School as early as 4 years old. We have a pre-school department from nursery up to senior Kindergarten.

The school’s philosophy is to move towards 21st century learning by providing an academic environment that requires teamwork, critical thinking, creativity and the ability to work independently. Students will now be active participants, problem solvers and planners.

We have produced a number of medical practitioners, engineers, lawyers, professional artists and businessmen. But to mention a few, we have Admiral Richard Ritual in the Maritime service, Liza Soberano and Kenneth Peralta in the Entertainment Industry and Philip Manalang and VeaMalarde in the field of Sports.

What is your school uniform?

The students have a compulsory school and PE uniform bearing the SPS logo patch. Generally, from Pre School to Junior High, male students wear white polo and gray pants while for the female, green blouse and skirt. For the Senior High, male students wear white polo and black pants, while for the female, white blouse and black skirt.

How much does the school uniform cost?

The costs of the school uniforms range from P250 to P400, although tops and bottoms may also be bought elsewhere.

Can non-catholic children enrol?

Yes. Children who are non-catholic may also enrol in St. Patrick School.

Do you have a student council?

We have a very active student council for both the Junior and Senior High school as well as Elementary.

What are the languages offered in your school?

At the moment, there are only two basic languages, English and Filipino. But soon we will offer other languages such us Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

Do students have extra- curricular activities?

Students are strongly encouraged to participate in extra- curricular activities in either Academics, Sports, Arts or religious organizations. They are required to join at least one school club held every Wednesdays.
